Custom Craft Controls' generational commitment to excellence in the field of electrical design continues to develop and grow. It was first established in 1986 by the brilliant father and son team of Kenneth (Ken) & Michael (Mike) Dunaway. Ken was a retiree from General Tire in Akron, Ohio where he was a Mechanical Design Engineer. Mike began his electronics career in the U.S. Army prior to co-founding Custom Craft Controls.
After many years and much success, the company's headquarters was moved in 2007 to its current location on Triplett Boulevard in Akron, Ohio. Then, following its steady growth and major plant advancements, the company went through a necessary first-rate expansion in 2012.
Unfortunately, our original co-founders are no longer with us. Yet, their commitment to family, customer service, and quality will live on from generation to generation. It is Mike's devoted son Kevin who now heads the company as Chief Operating Officer for the family.
